almost foreclosed on our house 3 times during 2007 because Wes used bill-paying money to get the animals’ supplies with, and that left us, three separate months, with Not enough to pay the mortgages…

2) Donations toward vet bills. We work with four different vet clinics (2 primary clinics) and are required to pay the bills in full each month. Contact us for the address(es) of the clinics as we don’t use each clinic each month.
3) Donations to pay for litter. We use roughly 15 pounds per day right now. We get the best price at Pet Supplies Plus-contact us for the address if you want to arrange for a gift card. We also get nice discounts from the Oshkosh Petco, so a Petco gift card is useful. We have a PetSmart nearby, but don’t typically shop there-they aren’t as good about discounts for the shelter.
4) Donations to purchase laundry supplies. We are doing approx 10 loads of “ferret laundry” each week. If you would like to send a gift card, we have Walmart, Target, Shopko, Pick ‘N Save, Woodman’s and Copp’s nearby.
Volunteer wishlist: We always have a need for volunteers to come in and help with cleaning the two ferret areas, and doing ears and nails-even more so now that I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder (Wegener’s Granulomatosis/Microscopic Polyangiitis) for which I am still in “phase one” of treatment (high doses of steroids and chemo meds).
